Kevin Gates
Kevin Jerome Gilyard (born February 5, 1986), known by his stage name Kevin Gates, is an American rapper, singer, and entrepreneur from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Bread Winners’ Association was once just an idea of its creators Kevin and Dreka. It was originally created to be an organization where it’s members banded together to make large investments. Years later co-owner/rapper Kevin Gates has popularized BWA through his music, making it a brand that everyone wants to be a part of. Today, BWA is not only an investment group, but a music recording label.
==Early life==
Born Kevin Jerome Gilyard, Gates was born in New Orleans and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Growing up Gates often listened to rappers such as Master P and Hot Boyz. Gates started rapping at 14 years old. Later with Boosie Badazz, and Webbie.
